Guns N' Roses Reunite With Duff McKagan In LondonOctober 16, 2010
Duff McKagan joined Guns N’ Roses on stage for the first time in seventeen years in London on Thursday (October 14).
The bassist accompanied singer Axl Rose - the only remaining original member - on a trio of songs. Fans at the O2 Arena went wild as McKagan performed ‘You Could Be Mine’, ‘Knockin' On Heaven's Door’ and ‘Nice Boy’. The bassist had previously hinted that he may reunite with Rose. His appearance has already led to speculation that it could pave the way for a full Guns N’ Roses reunion, including guitarist Slash. In recent years, Rose has recorded and performed without the band's other original members. The gig on Thursday was Guns N’ Roses second of two performances at the O2 Arena, and the band’s first in the UK since their controversial Reading and Leeds appearance in August.
