Michael Jackson Doctor Trial To Be TelevisedFebruary 8, 2011
The trial of Michael Jackson's doctor can be televised, a judge in America has ruled.
Los Angeles Superior Court judge Michael Pastor said TV cameras would be allowed into the courtroom as along as they were not intrusive. He has also pulled the start of Dr Conrad Murray's trial forward by four days to March 24, reports BBC News. Dr Murray has denied a charge of involuntary manslaughter over Jackson's death in June 2009. Prosecutors have accused Dr Murray of administering Jackson with a lethal dose of the anaesthetic propofol on the day that he died. Dr Murray, who was working with Jackson ahead of his ill-fated comeback gigs, could face four years in prison if convicted.
