Michael Jackson 3D Scans Mean Singer 'Could Perform Again'November 12, 2009
Three-dimensional scans of Michael Jackson mean the late singer could perform once more in music videos and films.
The scans were taken in 1996 when Jackson asked for a virtual reality double to be made of himself. They were discovered recently when an American businessmen attempted to sell them for £1million, reports the Telegraph. “The data has been in our archives and vault since then,” he said. "The thing about this data is it immortalised him at the age of 37, before his nose was disfigured and when he was in the prime of life.” Demand for Jackson has risen since his sudden death in June. The recent documentary movie, This Is It, which followed the star as he prepared for his ill-fated comeback shows, topped the box office around the world. Sales of Jackson's albums have also increased as fans attempt to re-live, or in some cases discover, the star's legacy.
