Michael Jackson Death Mystery 'Must Be Solved', Jermaine SaysJuly 20, 2009
Michael Jackson's brother, Jermaine, has insisted the mystery behind the singer's death must be solved.
Jermaine also raised questions about the actions of Michael's doctor, Dr Conrad Murray, who was with him when he died. "Michael went from good health to death in one day," Jermaine said. "The first time I met Dr Murray was at the hospital. I felt that if he was a doctor, why was Michael not here? Why was Michael dead?" Dr Murray tried unsuccessfully to revive Michael before paramedics arrived at the star's Los Angeles home on June 25. He died later in hospital. There has been wild speculation over Jackson's death, with various media reports focussing on the star's alleged addiction to prescription medication. But, in an interview with The Sun newspaper, Jermaine said he was confident that “everything will come out”. “I feel that God put Michael here to do good and he's not going to leave that chapter unfinished," he said. "I really feel that at the end of the day there will be clarity as to what happened. What we don't want and what I can't have is for Michael's passing to be a mystery forever." Meanwhile, Jackson has topped the UK album chart for a fourth week in a row and maintained his dominance of the singles countdown.
