Kings Of Leon O2 Arena Gig In Doubt After FireDecember 21, 2010
Kings Of Leon's gig at the O2 Arena in London tonight (December 21) is in doubt due to a fire at the venue.
Around 60 Firefighters are currently tackling a blaze which is believed to be affecting two tour buses. No injuries have been reported. A spokeswoman for the venue said discussions were taking place about whether tonight's show would go ahead. “Assessments are currently under way and we expect to make a decision in the next couple of hours as to whether tonight's Kings of Leon show will go ahead,” she said. Firefighters were called to the venue at around 8.45am (GMT). The buses are contained within the loading bay. London Fire Brigade station manager Sally Cartwright told the Press Association: “Our crews are doing a fantastic job, especially given the levels of smoke down here which has lead to quite challenging conditions." The gig is the band's last scheduled gig of 2010. UPDATE: Kings Of Leon Postpone London O2 Arena Gig Due To Fire.
