Caleb Followill: 'Kings Of Leon Don't Need Any More Money'

Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill has said the band no longer have to think about making money when recording a new album.

Followill said the group had earned enough from their previous efforts to be able to focus on the music.

"We're already plenty rich, we don't need it,” he told Virgin Radio ahead of the band's headlining appearance at last weekend's V Festival.

“We're like thousand-aires, multiple thousands, multiple.”

Kings Of Leon are due to release their fifth album 'Come Around Sundown' in October. Followill said the record contained “a little bit of every record we've ever made”.

The band headlined V Festival in Chelmsford on Saturday (August 21) and Staffordshire on Sunday (August 22).
