Kanye West Visits Rolling Stone Office, Reveals More Album DetailsAugust 2, 2010
Kane West continued his whistle stop tour of some of America's most influential offices this weekend when he stopped in on magazine Rolling Stone's HQ.
West, who previously dropped in on the offices of Facebook and Twitter, gave Rolling Stone a preview of twelve tracks from his forthcoming new album as well as fielding questions from the staff. When asked who he would like to duet with West revealed that he would like to work with Thom Yorke and Lauryn Hill. Speaking of his forthcoming fifth album, which is currently untitled after West revealed on Twitter that the title 'Good Ass Job' had been dropped, Kanye said: "Everyone says all great art comes from pain, but I think my greatest art comes from excitement and joy. It's a completely different perspective about being extremely excited about stuff that is only cool to me. "Like, when I tweeted, 'What's your credenza game?' I was very excited about that credenza... It was important to not be limited by the art form of rap but to have rap bring it to another level. Is it rap or is it poetry? Is it spoken word? Is it [a] speech?" Kanye West's fifth album is due to be released on September 13th. (by David Renshaw) See also: Katy Perry, Kanye West Perform 'ET' On American Idol (22.04.2011)
