Yoko Ono Announced As Speaker At SXSW Festival 2011

Yoko Ono will be a featured speaker at this year's SXSW Festival, it has been revealed.

Ono will speak at the festival on March 18 about her career, art and marriage to John Lennon. She will also be performing at the festival at the Chimera Music night at the Elysium venue.

The festival, which takes place in Austin from March 11-20, traditionally mixes new live music with industry conferences.

Acts for this year's festival include Bombay Bicycle Club, Chapel Club, The Naked and Famous and Pulled Apart By Horses.
