Paramore's Hayley Williams Feels 'Free' After Josh Farro ExitJanuary 7, 2011
Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has said she feels “more free” following the departure of Josh and Zac Farro.
The brothers quit the group last month, casting doubt over the future of the band. But Williams, who briefly dated Josh Farro, has assured fans that Paramore’s remaining members will continue and have started work on a new album. "I guess we're just going to do it really right this time. It's going to be fun to kind of just not have to think about what someone's thinking about me," she told MTV News. "I know that, for me personally, I'm just gonna feel, and I don't even mean this in a negative way to Josh and Zac, but I'm definitely starting to feel a lot more free about myself, and I think maybe that's just me growing up, but the people I have around me - Taylor (York) and Jeremy (Davies) - I feel very supported and loved, as a person, and that's a rare thing in this world." Meanwhile, York assured fans that he wouldn’t be seeking to replace Farro’s roles in the group, which included songwriting. Paramore are due to return to the road in South America next month, where they will be joined by temporary members Justin York and Josh Freese.
