Neil Diamond Offers Fans Refund Following Croaky PerformanceAugust 28, 2008
Neil Diamond says he will refund fans who watched him struggle through his performance in Ohio on Monday with a bad voice.
Diamond, who was diagnosed with acute laryngitisfollowing the concert, apologised on his website, saying: “I haven't let you down before and I wont let you down now." Two further shows – in Wisconsin and Missouri – have also been postponed until next month. Diamond has toured extensively since the release of his latest album 'Home Before Dark' earlier this year. The LP earned the veteran 67-year-old his first UK number one. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Neil Diamond Announces Summer UK Tour (14.02.2011)
