Foo Fighters To Play Oxegen Festival 2011

Foo Fighters are set to headline next year’s Oxegen festival in Ireland, it’s been announced.

The Dave Grohl-fronted band are the first act confirmed for the event, which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, County Kildare from July 8-10.

This year’s festival saw headline performances from Eminem and Kasabian.

A limited number of tickets for next year’s festival go on sale on Wednesday (December 15) at 9am.
