The new material was a clear example of the band’s new electronic direction, which frontman Tom Smith described recently as being influenced by the Terminator theme. Smith seemed packed with explosive energy throughout the set, telling fans at early on that he had a “good feeling about tonight”. 'Best live band ever' Aside from their new material, Editors played a selection of songs from their previous two albums. Fans went wild for the likes of ‘Munich’, ‘Racing Rats’ and ‘Bullets’. After a brief break, the band returned for a three-song encore, which included crowd favourite ‘Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors’ and new single ‘Papillon’.
