Battles, Spiritualized To Play Standon Calling Festival 2011

Battles and Spiritualized will play at this year's Standon Calling, it's been announced.

The event, which takes place in Hertfordshire on August 12-14, will also feature performances from Trophy Wife, Errors and Saul Williams.

The festival is still going ahead despite founder Alex Trenchard being given a 30-month custodial sentence last month (February 2) after pleading guilty to theft and fraud by false representation.

Early bird tickets for this year’s event, which runs from August 11-14, have already sold out.
