Basshunter Charged By Police Over 'Sex Attack'

Basshunter has been charged by Police for allegedly sexually assaulting two females in a Scottish nightclub.

The DJ, real name Jonas Erik Altberg, was charged by Police over sexual allegations at Kitty's nightclub in Kirkcaldy early Friday morning.

"Police in Fife can confirm that a 25-year-old man has been arrested in relation to alleged offences committed at Kitty's, Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy, and has been bailed to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in due course," a spokesperson told BBC News.

Basshunter, who appeared on this year’s final series of Celebrity Big Brother, has been charged under the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.

The DJ denies all involvement and that the allegations are "totally untrue", his manager said.
